President Trump’s hostility towards the media and those wishing for explanation and accountability for his appalling actions was on full display this morning when he lost his temper and condescendingly insulted a woman reporter for daring to ask him a question he didn’t want to hear.
CBS correspondent Weijia Jiang tried to get the president to explain how he could have declared in a Wednesday tweet that the North Korean nuclear threat is “over” when his agreement with Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un contained no specifics and no assurances that denuclearization would actually take place.
The president, knowing that he had no real answer with which to satisfy her, instead decided to lash out with the viciousness he reserves for when he’s challenged by a woman, a particularly heinous crime in the mind of notorious misogynist and serial sexual predator Donald J. Trump.

Jiang later reported that Trump told her to be quiet at least five times and never gave her a proper answer to the most important question about this whole absurd affair – which did not sit well with Jiang, who later took to Twitter to call him out for dodging.

Jiang clearly was unfazed by the president’s rudeness – as every reporter should be. The American people deserve answers and the president cannot be allowed to simply spout preposterous assertions and have them be accepted at face value. They must be challenged and exposed as the obvious self-aggrandizing, opportunistic falsehoods they almost always are.
